"Chinese takeout tonight?" Schu turned around so that his lake-like, green eyes directly faced the Irishman walking next to him. His entire person radiated happiness. From his arms, shivering with excitement and joy, which clung to the Irishman's naked forearms, to the smile of complete perfection that spread through his childlike features. Jei couldn't help but smiling, even though it was a weak smile that unconsciously parted his lips even so little, it was nevertheless a smile. In many ways, Schu was still a child. He was no longer the cold-blooded assassin that along with him escaped from the sinking research facility. With Crawford dead, he had regained all of his memories, they were together now, and everything was forgiven. The only thing Jei was grieving about was that the American had gotten off the hook so easily, he had rather seen him tortured than drowned. However, Crawford wasn't the only one that was out of the way, the Weiß were also resting at the bottom of the sea, Scu and him had no one left to stop them, they could always be together now. Jei turned back, faced the German and swooned when he saw the deep, intense gaze filled with love aimed at him. He blushed and tried to turn away, but it was impossible, he was drowning in the German's affectionate eyes. The thin hand around the German's athletic waist slowly stroke upward and downward as Jei kept looking into the sparkling eyes, unable to move. The muscles on his slender forearm tensed as he pulled him closer, inhaling the well-known smell of his sunset-red hair. He stayed that way for a while, his nose buried in the soft strand of hair, his arm embracing the warm, hard stomach that he had always loved to lean against. He suddenly became aware that they didn't move anymore, Schu had closed his beautiful eyes and leaned against the Irishman's angular shoulder. Jei blushed, he was ashamed of his body, it was way to skinny. You could see his ribs, spine and collarbone clearly. Not to mention how pale he was, or his scars. However, Schu didn't seem to care, he simply pressed himself harder against Jei's shoulder and sighed with satisfaction. "Well? Pleeeeaaaase, Farfie?" Schu pushed himself away from Jei, who smiled to not disclose how disgraceful it felt when Schu called him by his old name. Schu clasped Jei's hands and could feel his heart start to thump as the Irishman gently pressed his hand before sheltering the cold hands with his own palms. He relaxed a little as he felt the gentle hands stroking his, as he knew that Farfello couldn't leave him as long as their hands linked them together. That was his biggest fear, that Farfello would somehow be separated from him, that he would be left alone again. Unsafe, unwanted and alone, but he would never be with Farfello. He was always safe with him. He was the only one that he could trust, Farfie would never do anything that he didn't want to. Crawford had been weak, giving in to his lusts, quite the opposite of the silver-haired angel walking next to him. Schu knew that he could always rely on him, he could rest in his warm, soft chest at night without Farfie moving a muscle. The Irishman knew how Schu felt about being touched, especially after being molested by Crawford for eighteen years time. His fist shook and his knuckles whitened as he thought of what Crawford had done to the fragile little boy next to him. Schu may be older than him, but he was nevertheless still just a little boy...and that was why Jei still couldn't touch him, after eighteen years of longing, desire and waiting he could still not hold him. If only Schu knew that his suffering and torment wasn't over yet. If only the innocent boy holding his hand knew that merely the touch of him sent electric shocks through his body, his fingers trembled and his body ached to hold him...kiss him...make love to him. When Schu came to him at night, after having a nightmare (which he had every night, it was always the same....always....Crawford) he would open his arms and Schu would press himself against him, allowing Jei to feel his athletic, wonderful body. Jei could only watch the boy sleep, because every time he tried to put his arms around him, the red-haired boy turned worriedly in his sleep. He never knew how hard it was for Jei to have him so close...and yet, out of reach. All he knew was the strong body protecting him, never trying anything else, never being like his tormentor. All he knew was the beautiful, amber-eyed man that loved him of all his heart. The catlike angel that had waited for him for eighteen years... his saviour that he owed his life to. "Well....I don't know...." Said Jei, pretending to consider it, and woke Schu up from his fears and back to the safe reality with Farfie. His gloved hand stroke his chin and his glowing eye faced the sky. Schu couldn't help but laughing. Oh, how Jei loved that laugh, it sounded as pure and innocent as the clinging of tiny silver bells. There was no doubt that it came from the heart. "Ah, stop teasing me. " Said Schu and playfully hit him over the shoulder. Jei turned his eye back to the German and also started laughing. "Ok, we'll get Chinese food tonight. " Jei would give the world to Schu if he had it. The strike towards his shoulder had caused him to turn around, facing the German directly. He could now overlook the sunset-red, soft hair playing in the wind. The sunlight reflecting in the affectionate eyes focusing on him. The tight shirt, revealing the muscular arms and flat stomach that Jei trembled to touch. The slender legs, wrapped in a pair of white Armani-pants. Schu's hands were still clasping his forearms tightly, he had stopped laughing. Schu looked into the glowing eye and saw eighteen years of love overflowing. His lips parted, he didn't even hesitate, he knew that he could trust the Irishman. Autumn in Berlin. The smooth breeze whispered gently in the trees, causing them to shiver and release some of their levees, which were coloured in rust-red and mustard-yellow. The streets were almost empty and a faint smell of peach blossoms was in the air as the clock tower clung six times. The sun was setting, leaving a trail of melted gold, pink and cherry across the September sky. Gold as the crying eye, now sheltered by the eyelid. Cherry as the soft lips that gently brushed against Jei's pale cheek for the first time. Pink as the tongues that twirled around each other, promising eternal love. Schu broke off the kiss and slowly raised his hand and wiped off the salty tears running from the Irishman's still closed eye. Jei looked up at Schu and he knew that they would always be together now. "Come, let's go get that food." He said, reaching out his hand. After a few seconds, Schu clasped it. And together, hand in had they walked away into the horizon. They were finally free, there would be no more missions. They were free. They didn't know where they were heading, but they were heading there together.
